Big Week

This was a big week in the Howard Family.... Hunter graduated from his crib to the "big boy bed". He hasn't even tried to get out of it yet. Hunter and I finally met more of the MCYM families that are serving on other installations across Europe. Chris was apart of more training all this week at the MCYM service center, just about 2 hours away from here. We followed on Tuesday, and I had my first opportunity to drive on the Autobahn...it is a great system! When we returned, I decided this would be a good opportunity to warm Hunter up to his new bed.

We have had 2 days of sun and 45 degree + weather here, so the snow has begun to melt; we now have only about 6 inches in most places of our yard. Hunter was blessed with some hand-me-down toys for the yard, a picnic table, slide and wagon, and lots of "Veggie Tale" videos. He get really excited when he hears the theme song. Hunter reminds me to always keep laughing. We are at a new stage of discipline for our toddler...pray for us!

People continue to give us things as they are PCS-ing (permanent change of station) packing up to leave Hohenfels; it never ceases to amaze me how God is providing, even the smallest things...and it is always a blessing. Our family is getting into more of a pattern, and we hope to spend this next week getting more involved in the community.

Another big event, was having 10 high school teens sign up for the Service Project Trip over spring break. We were allotted 10 spots, and with volunteer leaders we will be taking 14. It is amazing the timing of God. They seem energized to serve kids in Slovokia. Pray for them as God prepares their hearts for ministry. About 12 more days and we should be getting our furniture and appliances. We would love to hear from all of you, so keep in touch!
