More Blessings

We are settling into life, establishing daily and weekly routines, and continually unpacking. Chris has meetings almost everyday, and we are thankful for God's favor. Spring is about 3 weeks away, but we are getting use to the snow. Each week that goes by we get more established. I find it hard to become homesick, though because we are so busy and we call all the time.

This week, I (Meaghan) was outside shoveling and Hunter was playing in the mounds of snow; this offered us the opportunity to meet some of our German neighbors; we have found there are plenty of toddlers on our street for Hunter to play. Lukas lives right across the street and is only 1 month older than Hunter. We have developed a relationship with the other American's on our street who live next door. They are from South Carolina, and the wife and I pray for and with each other and our families.

We are so appreciative to the people here who have helped us through this time of transition. My week was busy spending time in other peoples homes doing laundry, borrowing kitchen stuff, sharing meals, and using telephones. We now have an American phone line, so family and friends can call us (considering the time change), just as if we were living in the states (same rates apply); we installed everything during this last week and tried it out with our families. It works great. If you would like our contact information, please email us at meaghahoward@hotmail.com . We have unlimited long-distance, so if we have your number, plan on hearing from us.
