Spring is Here

For over a week we have had no snow, and temperatures in the 50's. Thus, we have declared that spring is finally here! The once sleepy little villages are now busy with bicycles everywhere, people in the yard, and spring cleaning activities; Hunter and I were even awakened early one day by the chimney sweeps coming to clean for the season. The sun comes out almost everyday for a little while, and walks are a popular family time.

We are meeting so many people and getting involved in many activities. I was able to attend a women's bible study, while Hunter went to playgroup. We had a great time. Two of the chaplains and their families invited us over for Sunday brunch. It was a blessing to share our experiences. The wives even volunteered to help me paint in our home. Only a few more days until we receive our furniture and household appliances from the family who is moving. We cannot wait; it will be like we are finally settling in.

Chris has been eating lunch at the high school one day week. The students are surprised to see him around, but enjoying his company. There is a real excitement for the upcoming Service Project. Chris is casting a vision for the youth of the community and people are ready to get involved; pray for the timing of the Coffee-house, and for it be fun and about HIM!
