Transitions

We have been living in our new home for a month now. Hunter is finally adjusted to his own bedroom and sleeping through the night. We are living with minimal furniture as we are waiting to receive many things from a family who is deploying back to the states. God put it on their hearts to give us everything from familyroom furniture to all of our major appliances (fridge, washer, dryer, microwave); they are a true blessing. We estimate that we will be in transition for the one more month.
This week I (Meaghan) passed my German driving test. Oh, and have I told you about the snow. I think we counted up 10 days that it has not snowed, in the last month...it is flurrying even now. We took Hunter to a town about fifteen minutes away to an indoor swimming pool last Friday. He loved it! We have been invited to a play group with some German kids this week; we are excited to make new friends.
We are so excited about where God has placed us; some of our volunteers told us that they have been praying for us since August. Chris is in the process of getting a Friday night coffee house appoved, so we can have a safe, fun place to hang out with teens. We are also tryinging to recruit kids to go on the service project to Slovokia. We know God has a plan for Hohenfels, as evidenced by the people we are meeting everyday. Chris has been busy getting things established and asking God which direction he wants our ministry to go.
