Moving Day

We finally have furniture! This past week has been really busy preparing for all of the stuff to arrive. We spent a couple of afternoons helping pack up the furniture and other small items to move. We have a refridgerator, freezer, storage space, and lots to do. I was excited to do my first load of laundry from home this weekend; and I can't wait to go grocery shopping, especially for ice cream! (It's the small stuff...) Perhaps now you may get a clear picture as to why my blog posts have been delayed.

Chris has been working on preparing the building where the Coffee House will be held. The military has even given him an office there too. The Service Project team leaves on Thursday; please be in prayer for safe travels (they will be traveling on a bus overnight), safety on the worksites (they will be doing some light construction, and painting), and God to meet each teen where they are.

We have some additional prayer requests this week: Please pray for our family as Chris's Grandfather, Willis Howard has been put into hospice care. He is 96 years old and has been blessed with a rich life, but has been suffering mini strokes and is loosing basic functioning capabilities. Pray for the family through this transition, as he is a pillar to our family. Chris and I are blessed to have had the last year living so close to Grandpa and Grandma, before coming to Germany. Secondly, a former teacher of mine and a dear friend, her husband past away this weekend. Please pray for her and her family; may God comfort her and her family. Finally, a friend of my family who lives here in Germany has torn something in her knee. The doctor's do not know what it is; please keep Karin in your prayers.
