Our Summer Intern has arrived

On Wednesday, Chris went to Nurnberg to pick up Ashley, our MCYM Summer Intern. We are so excited to have her as apart of our ministry team! We have been praying for her for the last couple of months and we know God has such great things in store for her.

Ashley has come to us as a recent graduate of Northwestern College, in Minnesota, where she studied Christian Ministries. She will be kept busy helping with the Coffee House, leading a girls summer Bible study, serving as a camp counselor, and other administrative preparations for the fall. Soon she will be going to Camp Darby, Italy for Beach break with the High school and Middle school students. I know she is anxious to jump in and help with ministry opportunities.

This week we have spent time helping Ashley acclimate to life in Hohenfels. On Friday, we attended the High School graduation, and Ashley has already found a group of girls for her Bible study. We have introduced her to many in the Chapel community and today she will get to go to the High School for lunch and meet many of our students. I am sure you will be hearing more about her in upcoming blogs, as she is now family-member.
