View From The Top
Today, we went to Luzern, Switzerland. The day ran smoothly with getting a vignette at the border and finding a good parking garage. The students didn't know what I had in store for the day, so it was a nice surprise. I purchased each of us a golden ticket. This included an hour and a half boat ride through Lake Luzern, a 40 minute cable car ride up the side of Mt. Pilatus, entry into the observation areas at the top, and a gandala ride down the other side of the mountain. The views are amazing and I am sure the students are excited about their pictures.
Along with Mount Pilatus, we saw the famous lion in the side of the rock face and a few other notable sites in the city. Upon returning to Germany, we are exhausted. It was a long day, full of adventure. My favorite part of the day is when a bee flew into our lift coming down. After screaming from Rachel and don't kill it shots from John, we all laughed.
Tomorrow, we are going to stay around Kandern. We will spend some time with the missionary family and the students will conduct part of their interviews that help develop one of their assigned papers. Also, we are going to go over and tour Black Forest Academy, a school for missionary kids, mostly middle and high school. Thanks for thinking of us and we look forward to what God has in store for us next.
Chris
